We take great pride in our broodmare band. All GVF owned mares were individually selected or retained to improve future generations of breeding. We firmly believe the mare is as equally important as the stallion in any breeding equation. Our mares have been inspected with their eligible registries and approved for breeding before entering the breeding shed. They all have been carefully selected for their: correct foundations (a staple for soundness), uphill sporthorse conformation, 3 solid gaits with engagement / suspension, and wonderful temperaments (A priority for rideability).

LEAH is a lovely daughter of
the legendary Grand Prix Jumper and Dressage stallion
Roemer, recently inducted into the USDF Hall of
Fame. He sired outstanding competitors and is highly regarded as a
broodmare sire. Leah is out of a Thoroughbred mare descended from
Nasrullah, progenitor of the most successful Thoroughbred sireline
for producing sporthorses in North America.
Leah
is an outstanding broodmare and was named the top mare at her GOV mare inspection, and is also
approved KWPN, and OLDna (score: 102). She is a very sweet mare with
tremendous gaits and we are looking forward to breeding her to Saint Sandro
in 2011!

Hailey is our "Little" mare. She is a TRUE sportpony and an incredible
mover. She produces LARGE offspring when crossed to 16+h stallions. All of her
foals have been gorgeous, correct, extremely athletic, and have incredible
minds. Hailey is somehow blessed with throwing color when crossed to colored
stallions. Every foal we have gotten out of her has been colored.

At 2.5 months of age Melchior placed 1st in the colts of 09' class at Morven Park SHBS, which qualified him for the Championship ring where he finished reserve reserve champion, 3rd highest score of the day in the boys ring behind 2 "Hilltop Farm" stallions. In the third generation, the Thoroughbred Aleppo xx contributes the required liveliness and performance. San Rubin, a powerful mover, a young stallion with championship quality. With his excellent rideablility and his brilliant movements, he enchanted the crowds at the Old Stallion Parade at the Oldenburger Approvals.
San Rubin, scored an impressive 9.3 under Dr Ulf Moller at the 2005 Bundeschampionate to become the 5 Year Old Bundeschampion! Stedinger was the
radiant and unequivocal approval winner of the 2002 Oldenburg Stallion Days. He
is a large framed young stallion, with an impressive overall appearance and is
highly elastic in every respect. Stedinger is one of the best of his age class
regarding his jumping performance. His sire Sandro Hit was federal champion
six-year old dressage horse in 1999 and world champion of the young horses in
Arnheim. In the meantime, he has become one of the most sought after
contemporary sires in the world.

newest addition to our GVF broodmare lineup. Danni is a VERY impressive,
correct, large framed mare with impeccable breeding for Sport. OLDn.a. inspector
was very impressed with Danni saying she should be represented in a year or two
when she is finished growing once mature and would easily make Premium status.
We plan on representing her.
